Every night delivers two, huge headlining acts in a spacious (but not so big to be acoustically challenged) venue and there's free parking too! Associated Entertainment Consultants is thrilled to collaborate and produce this diverse, exciting concert series. Doors open at 7 and the music starts at 8. Check out who's coming!
Aug 10th -Lonestar and The Charlie Daniels Band

Boot stomping, hand clapping, line dancing in the aisles good times. Grammy award winning Charlie Daniels and country super stars Lonestar are heating up the Heights and kicking off the concert series. Best know for his fiddle playing and Southern anthem hits, Daniels will feature country chart toppers like The Devil Went Down to Georgia, Long Haired Country Boy and underground fan favorites featuring his signature sweet muscianship and vocals. Lonestar will open the concert with chart toppers from their gold and platinum albums. Lead singer Richie McDonald recently rejoined the group and concert goers are in for an amazing night of hot country music!
Aug 18th - Spyra Gyra and Lee Ritenour

Get your tickets quick! Because every musician in the region is scrambling to get theirs for this outstanding concert. World music fans, Jazz groupies, and anyone who likes their music inspiring and brillantly executed will love this concert. Grammy winner Lee Ritenour throws down world class smooth jazz guitar and is the perfect opener for music revolutionaries Spyra Gyra. Their latest release "Foreign Affair" is influenced by their world travels as musicians. The album features signature killer instrumentals and three vocal performances so maybe we're in for a special guest performance? It's a great night for music at this excellent venue.
Aug 25th - Three Dog Night and America

Glorious long summers are personified in this dynamic line up of great feel good rock music with legendary Three Dog Night and folk rock icons America. Universally recognized as the sound track of the 70's - both bands have recently recorded new material and embrace concert performing as their calling. Their shows are tight, vocal performances are outstanding and the musicianship is excellent. The songs will take you back but you'll also be inspired by the artistry and creativity of musicians doing what they love to do. It's going to be an amazing night of all star performances!
Sept 8th - Kool and the Gang with The Commodores

Dance shoes on Sacramento! Kool and the Gang and The Commodores are the United Nations of music. Watch what happens when people hear Brick House. Everyone stops what they are doing and hits the dance floor. With big smiles on their faces. That's the kind of night it's going to be. Funk and R&B anthems, played the way they should be played by the original artists. It'll be a great night to take the next gen out to see the real deal before sampling and tracks. You'll be singing all the way home!
Sept 14th - Blondie and DEVO

Fresh from their gig at The Greek in LA -iconic New Wavers DEVO and Blondie hit the Heights on their "Whip it to Shreds" tour. Great tour info from Sound Spike follows.
Blondie will feature three original members Debbie Harry, Clem Burke and Chris Stein and is joined by newbies Leigh Foxx, Tommy Kessler and Matt Katz-Bohen. The group will mix songs from the band's most recent release, last year's "Panic of Girls," with hits from their 40-year discography. Devo, comprised of original members Mark and Bob Mothersbaugh and Gerald and Bob Casale and touring drummer Jeff Friedl, will continue supporting the group's 2010 effort, "Something for Everybody." And yup, they'll be playing "Whip it" too.
"We are looking forward to performing alongside Blondie and swapping costumes backstage," Mark Mothersbaugh said in a press release. That is just so 80's isn't it? This tour has serious buzz so don't wait too long to get your tickets. Grab your resident Katy Perry fan and show her how 80's edge is done.
Hot summer concerts with an amazing line up and a brand new headlining concert venue make the Sunrise at Night Concert Series a huge benefit for the Sacramento area. Music lovers cheer!
