Palladio Rocks on Wednesdays!
There is no nicer way to spend a Wednesday than out at the Palladio Summer Concert Series. Awesome live music, great food and excellent shopping for everyone. Thank you to Palladio and Mercy Hospital for bringing back this happy summer tradition! Once again, the concert line up is filled with top notch, high energy, regional favorites. The series opens June 5th with The Cheeseballs party band. On July 21st, award winning Hip Service is back by popular demand and brings their excellent show to the series. Aug 28 is the final concert with Lovefool performing dance hits of the 90's. In between, there is everything from Santana to Beatles to Aretha to Skynard to DEVO. A perfect opportunity for the kids to be inspired by excellent musicians and great songs.
Palladio has secured its spot as one of Folsom's best destination shopping experiences. Anchored by big, gorgeous "must haves" like Whole Foods and Sports Authority - locals visit Palladio regularly for essentials and again for date nights and family time. The Palladio Theaters are a favorite with both adults and kids. Everyone loves the "do it yourself popcorn bar" and the reservable DBOX experience seats are a huge hit for birthday parties and special dates. Parents particularly love the convienence, ample parking and safety. Says one Mom " I love Palladio. We don't have a ton of family outing time and I want it to be relaxed fun. I can't do that when we're stressed about parking, dinner and being late to the movie. Palladio is just awesome."

Kwirk is Cool
A super hip addition to Palladio is Kwirkworld. A funky clothing and gift store that carries the hottest trends in kitchy kwirk. How about a high end Hello Kitty leopard patent leather purse? Sound kind of fancy for your Third Grader? Well, maybe your sister loved Hello Kitty all through Middle School.. now we're talking! Kwirkworld has fanciful, hilarous, new and nostalgic for just about anyone on your list. A "must go" for Mother's Day, Father's Day and the spate of Graduations right around the corner. We still regret letting that awesome Adventureland Avengers T-Shirt slip through our fingers. Don't let it happen to you!

Delicious Dinner
Yay for Panera at Palladio! Spectacular baked items and great coffee drinks are just the beginning. Panera sandwiches and salads are delicious and there are plenty of tasty and healthy choices so the whole family is happy. Fuji Apple Chicken is one of our office favorites but we also love the sandwiches on fresh baked bread. Thinking about eating al fresco at the concert? Panera is a great choice for dinner to go.

Can't Wait for Wednesday
Wednesday nights really are family fun nights at Palladio. Come early for dinner at any of the great restaurants and then relax and dance to some of the best music in the region. Even your teenagers will want to come. We're all looking forward to another summer of making great memories.

Dave Russell, one of California’s Hottest Country Vocalists, has been named on the Country Music Association's list of "Who New to Watch in 2013." The list, which is published in the February issue of CMA Close Up Magazine, names 40 rising stars in Nashville, including Russell, who has released his first national single "Where the Money Goes" to radio and just released his second single from Cupit Music, "How Country is That".
"Where the Money Goes" was immediately embraced by Russell's dedicated following, and introduced his soulful country sound to a whole new fan base. Regularly seen at Toby Keith's, regional music venues and Fairs and Festivals nationwide - a Dave Russell concert always delivers in boot stomping, crowd cheering high energy. As an artist, Russell connects with the audience in an authentic, honest way that resonates with fans. A Dave Russell concert is a feel good show.
"I just love doing what I do as an entertainer, and as a singer. I want to continue to reach and touch as many people as I can with my music. To make the CMA list, is such a huge affirmation of how lucky and blessed I am to do what I love so much."

The Valley has embraced Sammy's Rockin' Island Bar and Grill as its rock music mecca. Nothing brings that home better than Sacramento's native son, Tesla's Frank Hannon performing a special show on Sat, Oct 27th. It's lead guitar heaven and the perfect Halloween weekend party spot. Lucky show goers can hope to hear songs from Hannon's recently released and highly acclaimed album Six String Soldiers. Hardrock Haven says:
Built on the bedrock of contagious riffs, tight grooves, and raunchy guitar leads, Frank Hannon’s new solo record upholds the all familiar hard rock truisms with commendable conviction.
Tickets are sold only at Sammy's and only at the door. Hannon is an amazing performer, legendary musician and loves his hometown. This is one to remember!
Frank Hannon @ Sammy's Rockin' Island Bar and GrillSat, Oct 27th 10pmTickets $10 at the doorCome early (it's gonna sell out) and eat!

As a restaurant, bar and killer music venue, Sammy's Rockin' Island Bar and Grill is bringing the heat to Roseville. Featuring delicious drinks and a menu that can go from "family friendly" to "date night" to party like a.. well, it is Hagar's after all.
American cuisine with an Aloha twist - Sammy's food is fresh, delicious and has a nice, spicy spin on classic fare. The raw Crudo Bar is a customer favorite as well as the Late Night Pupus Menu that serves up Red Rockin' Haleakala Fire Island Wings (carmelized with Beach Bar Rum) served with your choice of signature dipping sauces. If you've ever been out late (listening to amazing music) you know how great it is to have really good food available after 10. No more stopping at heat lamped fast food on the way home. Thank you!
Rock star venue that it is, it makes sense that the mixed drinks are huge at Sammy's. Delicious "wabo-rita's" Sammy's version of a margharita made with Hagar's top shelf Cabo Wabo Tequila Blanco are a bar favorite. More recently, Hagar partnered with a Maui distillery and is producing his exclusive, delicious Beach Bar Rum. "Sammy's Maui Rocker" is a customer favorite but Hagar himself? He drinks it “Three ounces of rum, one ice cube (yes, that’s just one rock) and a drop of a citrus, whether it’s lime, lemon or orange..for an added kick, try adding a quarter grind of pepper.” The Roseville location has "The Rumerator" in their loft. What the heck is a Rumerator? Ha! Go on, head on up there and see.

Thanks to Angie Cardena Photography for the great photo.
Sammy's is representing with the best rock music Northern California has to offer every Thurs, Friday and Saturday night. Their opening night concert with Sammy Hagar was sold out and special concerts with headliners like the remarkable Frank Hannon are lining up. Sammy's Rockin' Island Bar and Grill is a gift to valley restaurant, bar and music scene. Check out the live music schedule.. great bands from all over are itching to perform at this already happening restaurant and club. Thanks Sammy!

Hip, Hotel Del Coronado Beach Concert
Remember that fabulous full moon last month? It was a party on the beach kind of night. Lucky us, we got to help throw a big rock star (really) of a beach dance party at the fabulous Del Coronado Hotel in San Diego. Our fantastic clients envisioned a world class beach concert and we loved making it happen.
In the midst of set up
Months of planning, a crew of 20, and 300 sheets of plywood..
Our production manager worked (happily in gorgeous San Diego weather) with sound, lighting, stage, decor, security and band management, and by sound check there was a concert stage fit for rock stars. Absolutely appropriate because The World Classic Rockers were set to give their trademark amazing show. Biggest hurdle? The Del Coronado had never had such a large event on the beach. One little trick: We layed (a lot of) plywood on the sand to roll equipment out to the area for the stage.
The World Classic Rockers Delivered an Amazing Show
Our excellent clients loved The World Classic Rockers the last blow out party they had and knew they wanted them again in this idyllic location. The World Classic Rockers are the penultimate all star band. Their set lists are your favorite songs performed by the original artists. WCR members are from super groups: Santana, Steppenwolf, Journey, Lynyrd Skynrd and Boston. And they bring it. Masters of live performance, musically and vocally on point, WCR members play on each other's talents and deliver a once in a lifetime experience for the audience. It was an unbelievable feel good performance and party goers were on the dance floor and joyfully singing along. Even on the flight home the next day attendees were buoyed and energized. The combination of the celebration as gracious and generous gesture, the glorious setting and partying with bona fide rock stars has left a lasting, delicious impression on all of us. What better outcome could there be?
Ready to rock with WCR? Looking to throw the party of a lifetime? Maybe a big "thank you" beach party for clients and team? Give us a call and we'll move heaven, earth and a boat load of equipment anywhere you want it. 916.354.9924 or email nellie@hipentertainment.com
