About Hip Entertainment

Our Philosophy

Hip Entertainment delivers outstanding entertainment and excellent client service. We believe a great entertainment experience is about providing the best talent, impeccable planning and raving fan service.

Steve Bloom

"We are committed to giving our clients exceptional events and providing great artists opportunites to perform. Developing artists so they deliver outstanding shows and client service results in a spectacular win-win."

An accomplished musician, award winning teacher and a licensed pilot - whatever Steve does you can be sure he is dedicated, meticulous and passionate about excellent results.

Always interested in music, Steve picked up a guitar at 12 and dived right into the vibrant Jazz and Funk scene in Los Angeles. By 17, Steve was performing professionally with bands of different genres to gain experience and to fund his college education. After graduating with High Honors from University of California, Davis, Steve was inspired to teach and had a deeply satisfying career teaching Science and Health to middle and high school students. Increasingly interested in the changing landscape of artist representation, Steve stoked his entreprenurial fire and began constructing his vision of a company rooted in ethical, creative talent management and focused on client service.

Joining Associated Entertainment Consultants (AEC) in 2003, Steve opened the Sacramento office (AECSAC) bringing full event services to the greater Sacramento and Lake Tahoe regions. Pushing forward with his vision, Steve later formed Hip Entertainment as the Talent Division of AEC Sacramento to cultivate new artists and emerging projects. Embracing a hands-on management style, Steve and his team work daily to mentor and develop Hip Entertainment's growing roster of excellent talent.

Steve lives in Rancho Murieta with his wife and business partner, Nellie, their son, a Labradoodle, two cockatiels and Bob the Ball Python.
